Three and a half hours into a fourteen hour drive with two small children. Luckily we left around four a.m. and the boys are just waking after a short nap. By this time tomorrow we'll be basking in the fun of visiting grandma and grandpa (in our case Yiayia and Grandaddy) Thank heavens for books on tape that will the hours away.
I can't wait to take the boys to the beach and hopefully get big little to realize how fun it is! (Big little has hated the waves since he and his buddy had an incident with huge waves dousing us and trying to sweep them away on a beach in Spain.) I can't wait to show them all of the wild life on the Cali beaches! Sand castles and sea lions here we come!!!
